Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across 15+ emerging technology domains
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks for 2030+ market positioning
- Partner with R&D to translate future scenarios into actionable innovation roadmaps
- Deliver executive briefings on disruptive threats and opportunities
- Design and facilitate scenario planning workshops with global leadership
- Author annual Future State reports with quantifiable impact projections
- Maintain a proprietary ecosystem of futurist thought leaders and researchers
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, systems thinking, and pattern recognition
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive stakeholders
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures methodologies preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-shaping initiatives
