Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives to identify and analyze emerging technologies and societal trends
- Develop 5-10 year innovation roadmaps aligned with corporate vision
- Conduct horizon scanning and scenario planning for disruptive market shifts
- Present findings to executive stakeholders and translate insights into actionable strategies
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-facing solutions
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry experts
- Author thought leadership publications and internal trend briefings
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology, Business, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology forecasting
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation domains
- Experience with foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Strong network in Silicon Valley innovation ecosystems
