Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 technology horizons
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and commercializing breakthrough technologies
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging trends and disruptive threats/opportunities
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-ready solutions into existing portfolios
- Present strategic insights to investors, board members, and industry stakeholders
- Build and manage an external network of futurists, academics, and tech pioneers
- Drive organizational culture of experimentation and calculated risk-taking
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in strategic planning, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (AI/quantum/biotech)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario modeling expertise
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Deep understanding of ethical implications of technological advancement
- Experience scaling innovation initiatives in enterprise environments
- Strong proficiency in data visualization and trend analysis tools
