Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive 2026+ strategic foresight framework using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Translate complex global trends into actionable business strategies for executive leadership
- Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with academic institutions, tech incubators, and industry disruptors
- Design and implement innovation governance frameworks to balance risk and opportunity
- Present strategic insights to stakeholders through compelling narratives and visual storytelling
- Mentor innovation teams in futures thinking methodologies and strategic planning
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, Business, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation, or futures research with Fortune 500 or high-growth tech
- Expertise in foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP, scenario planning, horizon scanning)
- Proven track record of translating future trends into implemented business strategies
- Exceptional data analysis skills with proficiency in trend visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal shifts
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence and stakeholder management expertise
