Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026 business landscapes
- Develop and publish annual 'Future State' strategic reports with data-driven forecasts for quantum/AI/biotech convergence
- Architect innovation roadmaps for 2026 product ecosystems, aligning with ESG and human-centric design principles
- Facilitate C-level strategy sessions on exponential tech adoption and competitive disruption scenarios
- Establish cross-industry partnerships to co-create solutions for climate resilience and digital sovereignty challenges
- Mentor innovation teams in futures-thinking methodologies and scenario planning frameworks
- Represent Nexus at global forums on tech ethics and sustainable innovation policy development
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or futurism with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Proven track record developing multi-year innovation roadmaps with measurable ROI impact
- Deep expertise in emerging tech: quantum computing, AGI governance, synthetic biology, or climate tech
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or relevant technical discipline (PhD preferred)
- Certification in Foresight Methodologies (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
- Published thought leadership on exponential technologies and societal transformation
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to translate complex futures into stakeholder-aligned strategies
- Experience advising C-suite on disruptive technology adoption and ethical implementation
