Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026+ innovation roadmaps using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead high-stakes workshops with executive teams to translate foresight into strategic priorities
- Identify emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, decentralized systems) with commercial potential
- Design human-centered solutions addressing future workforce, sustainability, and ethical AI challenges
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Present strategic recommendations to investors and board members with compelling data narratives
- Champion a culture of experimentation through rapid prototyping and innovation sprints
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, R&D leadership, or corporate innovation with proven 5+ year foresight impact
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech) and their societal implications
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (books, peer-reviewed journals, keynotes)
- Track record of launching products/services based on future trend analysis
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating scenario planning for global corporations or governments
- Mastery of foresight methodologies (Delphi, STEEP, causal layered analysis)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presence
