Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop and maintain comprehensive foresight frameworks integrating AI, biotech, climate resilience, and human augmentation trajectories
- Design scenario-planning models to quantify risks/opportunities for strategic business units
- Champion innovation sprints with engineering teams to prototype future-critical solutions
- Present strategic foresight findings to executive leadership and board committees
- Establish cross-functional partnerships with academia, startups, and industry think tanks
- Author thought leadership publications and whitepapers on future-focused business strategies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (MSc/MBA/PhD) in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field with 5+ years applied experience
- Proven track record of translating foresight research into enterprise-level strategic initiatives
- Expertise in scenario planning, systems thinking, and emerging technology assessment
- Exceptional data visualization and narrative-building skills for complex future scenarios
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Experience advising C-suite on long-term strategic pivots and market adaptation
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., WFS, Sohonet) preferred
