Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026+ strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario modeling
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize emerging technologies with market opportunities
- Produce executive-level trend reports and strategic briefings for board stakeholders
- Architect innovation roadmaps for quantum computing, biotech convergence, and AI ethics
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs for future-tech incubation
- Monitor geopolitical shifts and regulatory impacts on emerging technology ecosystems
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies and strategic foresight
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-tech planning
- Expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into actionable business strategies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis, cross-impact matrices)
- Exceptional communication skills for executive-level stakeholder engagement
- Portfolio demonstrating published future trend analyses or scenario planning projects
- Experience in venture capital or corporate innovation lab environments preferred
