Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, neurotech, climate AI) to map 5-10 year innovation horizons
- Develop strategic frameworks integrating foresight methodologies with business objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into actionable product roadmaps
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate next-generation solutions
- Author forward-looking whitepapers and thought leadership for industry stakeholders
- Establish KPIs measuring innovation adoption and market disruption impact
- Advise C-suite on strategic pivots and future-proofing initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic innovation, corporate foresight, or R&D leadership
- Proven experience with horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., synthetic biology, quantum computing)
- Track record of launching products/services from future-concept to market realization
- Exceptional storytelling and communication skills for technical and executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CSFI, WFS) preferred
