Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, socioeconomic shifts, and global megatrends to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop and publish strategic foresight frameworks for product development and market expansion
- Lead scenario-planning workshops with executive teams to prepare for 2026+ market landscapes
- Design and manage innovation pipelines prioritizing high-impact R&D initiatives
- Partner with marketing to position Horizon Labs as a thought leader in future-focused industries
- Quantify market potential of emerging trends through data modeling and competitive analysis
- Present strategic recommendations to board members and external investors
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of publishing trend reports or scenario-planning frameworks
- Expertise in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and trend analysis methodologies
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Innovation Management (e.g., CFSD preferred)
