Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, neural interfaces, climate tech) to develop 2026+ strategic roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and innovation gaps
- Partner with product teams to prototype future-facing solutions using agile methodologies
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and industry forums
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems through patent analysis, academic research, and startup scouting
- Develop scenario-planning models for geopolitical and technological disruptions
- Drive thought leadership through whitepapers, conference keynotes, and media partnerships
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futures research, or technology consulting
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Proven track record of launching future-oriented products/services
- Expertise in AI ethics, biotech regulation, or circular economy frameworks
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
- Published thought leadership in top-tier publications (e.g., MIT Tech Review, Nature)
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFAP from APF) preferred
- Fluency in emerging tech APIs and prototyping tools
