As a key architect of our 2026 roadmap, you'll leverage data-driven insights and human-centered design principles to identify disruptive opportunities, mitigate future risks, and position FutureWorks at the vanguard of technological evolution. You'll collaborate with C-suite executives to embed foresight into DNA, ensuring our innovations anticipate market shifts and societal transformations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and climate tech to identify paradigm-shifting opportunities
- Develop and present future scenario models that inform 5-year strategic roadmaps for product development and market expansion
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate emerging technologies with pilot programs
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors to accelerate knowledge exchange
- Translate complex future trends into compelling narratives that drive stakeholder alignment and investment decisions
- Establish KPI frameworks to measure innovation velocity and strategic foresight effectiveness
- Champion human-centered design principles in all innovation initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Strategic Foresight, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 8 years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-ready strategies that scaled to $100M+ revenue
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology impact assessment methodologies
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills with executive audiences
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their socioeconomic implications
- Experience leading remote global teams in agile innovation environments
