Responsibilities
- Scan horizon for emerging trends, technologies, and societal shifts impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop and maintain strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with organizational vision
- Lead cross-functional teams in executing pilot projects for disruptive technologies
- Present foresight insights to stakeholders through compelling data visualizations and scenario planning
- Establish KPIs to measure innovation portfolio success and ROI
- Build external partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and think tanks
- Mentor junior team members in futures thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis frameworks
- Experience with emerging technologies: AI, quantum computing, biotech, or Web3
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
