- Develop strategic frameworks for long-term innovation roadmaps aligned with organizational vision
- Conduct scenario planning and risk assessments for future business environments
- Partner with R&D teams to translate foresight into actionable R&D priorities
- Present future-state insights to executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Author thought leadership publications and whitepapers on future trends
- Curate external partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate strategy roles
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology impact assessment
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial innovation
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating published future-state analyses or innovation frameworks
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFTR)
