- Partner with C-suite to align organizational strategy with emerging paradigms
- Produce trend reports forecasting 3-5 year industry transformations
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking into R&D
- Monitor geopolitical and sociocultural shifts affecting tech adoption
- Represent company at global futurist forums and innovation summits
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record predicting market shifts in tech or biotech sectors
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology adoption curves
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills translating complex trends into actionable insights
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on future-proofing strategies
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Innovation Management preferred
