Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal trends to forecast 5-10 year market shifts
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for product innovation and market expansion
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into actionable R&D priorities
- Establish KPIs for tracking technological adoption curves and disruption signals
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and academic partners
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in innovation strategy, product development, or consulting
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercial outcomes
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills for complex technical storytelling
- Portfolio demonstrating futurist projects or published thought leadership
