Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts through 2030
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for enterprise resilience in volatile markets
- Architect innovation pipelines integrating quantum computing, biotech convergence, and AI ethics
- Facilitate cross-disciplinary workshops with MIT Media Lab and Singularity University partners
- Produce annual 'Future State' reports influencing $2B+ R&D allocation
- Mentor internal 'Future Scout' program accelerating talent development
- Represent company at Davos and World Economic Forums thought leadership platforms
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or Strategic Innovation (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years experience in corporate strategy consulting with Big 4 or McKinsey/BCG caliber firms
- Published author in peer-reviewed foresight journals with 50+ citations
- Expertise in STEEP analysis and Delphi methodology for trend forecasting
- Proficiency in Python/R for predictive modeling and scenario simulation
- Certification in Foresight Practitioner (AFP) or equivalent
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-proofing initiatives
- Fluency in Mandarin/Spanish for global stakeholder engagement
