Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop robust strategic frameworks for emerging domains (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence)
- Partner with C-suite to integrate foresight into product roadmaps and organizational strategy
- Design and facilitate scenario-planning workshops for high-stakes decision-making
- Produce forward-looking whitepapers and thought leadership positioning the company as an industry futurist
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and academic pioneers
- Quantify future market opportunities through data-driven forecasting models
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend mapping, and technology impact assessment
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology) and societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling and communication skills for translating complex futures into actionable insights
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented strategic innovations
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., ACIF) or similar advanced credential preferred
