Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging trends, technologies, and disruptions relevant to 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks integrating AI, biotech, quantum computing, and socio-political vectors
- Design and facilitate scenario-planning workshops for executive leadership and cross-functional teams
- Create actionable innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term corporate vision and market evolution
- Establish KPIs and metrics to track foresight effectiveness and strategic adaptation success
- Present future-state analyses to stakeholders through compelling data visualizations and narratives
- Collaborate with R&D and product teams to embed foresight into innovation pipelines
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 7 years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist role with Fortune 500 exposure
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies, scenario planning, and trend analysis frameworks
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology) and societal implications
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented business strategies
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CSO, WFS) or equivalent practical experience
