Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and future scenarios for C-suite decision-making
- Collaborate with R&D, product, and marketing teams to integrate future insights into innovation pipelines
- Present future trend briefings to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish and maintain partnerships with academic futurists and tech think tanks
- Design and facilitate innovation workshops using foresight methodologies
- Produce strategic white papers on emerging industry paradigms
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-tech planning
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Proven track record of translating future insights into commercial strategies
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive audiences
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
