Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive opportunities through 2030
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating exponential technologies (quantum computing, neurotech, etc.)
- Facilitate C-level workshops on future scenario planning and risk mitigation
- Drive innovation sprints to prototype solutions for emerging market needs
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Present findings to stakeholders through compelling data visualizations
- Mentor cross-functional teams on future-thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy/innovation with Fortune 500 or scaling tech firms
- Expertise in futures forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Proven track record launching market-defining products/services
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies and their societal impact
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP preferred)
- Exceptional storytelling and executive presentation skills
- Experience building innovation ecosystems in regulated industries
