Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning research to identify disruptive technologies and societal trends impacting 2026+ markets
- Develop actionable innovation roadmaps aligning emerging opportunities with company vision
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to embed foresight into product development
- Deliver strategic briefings to executive stakeholders on future scenarios and implications
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Quantify future market opportunities and competitive threats through data-driven modeling
- Champion experimental R&D initiatives with 3-5 year time horizons
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in corporate innovation, strategic foresight, or emerging technology
- Proven track record translating foresight into commercial products or services
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains: AI ethics, quantum computing, or climate tech
- Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Delphi method)
- Published thought leadership in futures/innovation publications
- Experience building innovation labs or corporate venture units
