Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies, market shifts, and societal disruptions impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop and implement foresight frameworks to map future scenarios and inform multi-year strategic roadmaps
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align innovation initiatives with long-term business objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking capabilities across product development and R&D teams
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry think tanks to capture disruptive insights
- Present evidence-based future scenarios to stakeholders and translate foresight into actionable strategic priorities
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of strategic initiatives, adapting approaches based on emerging data and signals
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Business Strategy, or related field with 7+ years of experience
- Proven expertise in foresight methodologies including scenario planning, Delphi studies, and trend analysis
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional strategic thinking with ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights
- Strong stakeholder management experience with demonstrated ability to influence executive decision-making
- Published thought leadership in futures research or innovation strategy preferred
- Portfolio showcasing successful future-focused projects or strategic initiatives
