Responsibilities
- Anticipate and analyze global technological, social, and economic shifts through 2026+ horizon scanning
- Develop data-driven future scenarios and strategic roadmaps for exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-gen solutions with 18-24 month deployment timelines
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-proofing principles into R&D pipelines
- Deliver executive briefings on emerging threats and opportunities across 15+ industry verticals
- Establish Horizon Dynamics' thought leadership through white papers, keynote speeches, and trend reports
- Manage a $2M innovation portfolio with rigorous ROI and impact measurement frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Futurism, Systems Thinking, Innovation Strategy, or related field
- 8+ years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methodology, and horizon scanning techniques
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI/ML, blockchain, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to translate complex futures into actionable narratives
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through digital transformation initiatives
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (articles, books, patents)
