Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 innovation roadmaps using horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead scenario-planning workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and risks
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-focused solutions in AI, biotech, and sustainable systems
- Present strategic futures insights to executive stakeholders and investor forums
- Establish KPIs for innovation maturity and track adoption of emerging technologies
- Build a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Author thought leadership publications on 2026 industry transformation
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or Innovation Management
- Minimum 7 years in strategy consulting or corporate innovation leadership
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex innovation cycles
- Certification in Futures Methodology (e.g., CFPC, CFS) strongly preferred
- Portfolio published futurist work or thought leadership pieces
