Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026-2030 strategic foresight framework using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, sustainable materials)
- Present executive briefings on emerging disruption vectors and recommend strategic pivots
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks to accelerate R&D in exponential technologies
- Design and implement innovation governance frameworks balancing risk and disruptive potential
- Mentor a team of futurists and innovation specialists to cultivate next-generation foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or future studies with demonstrable impact on organizational transformation
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing) and their societal implications
- Proven track record of translating future scenarios into executable business strategies
- Exceptional storytelling and visualization skills for communicating complex futures to diverse audiences
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Experience leading global teams across multiple time zones and cultural contexts
