Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating breakthrough technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging tech disruptions and competitive threats
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to translate strategic vision into actionable R&D priorities
- Establish KPIs for innovation maturity and track adoption of futuristic technologies
- Present strategic insights to investors and industry thought leaders at global forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership within high-growth tech companies
- Proven track record of launching at least two transformative tech products/services
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, AGI frameworks, or synthetic biology
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent foresight methodology training
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Foresight
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex system interactions
- Experience securing $10M+ innovation budgets and managing R&D portfolios
