Responsibilities
- Lead strategic planning for 2026+ technology initiatives, aligning with business objectives and market trends
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Develop and maintain innovation roadmaps with clear milestones and ROI projections
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate next-generation solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investors
- Monitor competitive landscape and regulatory shifts affecting technology adoption
- Build and lead a specialized futurist research team
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business; PhD preferred
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data
- Track record of launching successful technology initiatives
- Strong presentation skills and executive communication abilities
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight (e.g., from WFSF)
