Responsibilities
- Scan horizon for emerging technologies (quantum computing, bio-integrated AI, neural interfaces) and assess commercial viability
- Develop 3-5 year strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with company vision and market needs
- Lead cross-functional workshops to ideate and prototype future-facing solutions
- Analyze competitive landscapes and regulatory impacts on emerging tech ecosystems
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and ethical frameworks
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or emerging tech R&D
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AGI, neurotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching future-focused initiatives or products
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
- Strong data visualization and presentation skills for complex concepts
- Certification in futures methodologies (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method)
