Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum AI, biotech interfaces, AR ecosystems)
- Analyze emerging tech trends and regulatory impacts to inform strategic decisions
- Forge partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Oversee patent development and IP protection for proprietary innovations
- Mentor junior strategists in future-proof methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of launching 3+ disruptive products
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science/Engineering or related field
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or Nature journals
- Strong background in ethical tech frameworks and sustainable innovation
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants ($5M+)
- Fluency in Mandarin/Spanish preferred for global partnerships
