Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation strategy, identifying emerging trends with 5+ year market impact potential
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating next-gen solutions (quantum computing, AI ethics, Web3 infrastructure)
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs to pioneer breakthrough technologies
- Analyze competitive landscapes and regulatory shifts to position InnovateNext for market dominance
- Present technology roadmaps and investment proposals to C-suite executives and board members
- Establish KPIs for innovation initiatives and track ROI for experimental projects
- Champion a culture of experimentation and calculated risk-taking across 500+ technical workforce
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership with proven 2025+ roadmap delivery
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AI governance, biotech convergence)
- Experience securing $10M+ innovation budgets and managing cross-continental R&D teams
- Published thought leadership in future technology forecasting (IEEE, Nature Futures, or equivalent)
- Executive-level communication skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts into business strategy
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with specialization in emerging tech
- Portfolio of successfully commercialized innovations with measurable market impact
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Technology Roadmapping (preferred)
