Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for emerging tech sectors (AI, quantum computing, climate tech)
- Conduct scenario planning for global market shifts and regulatory landscapes
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize insights from R&D, marketing, and operations
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-driven visualizations
- Monitor horizon-scanning metrics to identify disruptive threats and opportunities
- Author annual Future State reports for investor and board briefings
- Manage a portfolio of innovation pilots with $2M+ annual budget oversight
Qualifications
- 7+ years in strategic planning, consulting, or futurist roles
- Advanced degree in Business Strategy, Economics, or Futures Studies
- Expertise in predictive analytics tools (Tableau, Python, R)
- Proven track record of influencing C-suite strategy decisions
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their business implications
- Published thought leadership in strategy or innovation forums
- Experience with global regulatory frameworks and policy impact analysis
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or equivalent (e.g., CFIP preferred)
