Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care plans and treatment schedules during weekend shifts
- Administer medications and monitor patient health status
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for seamless care transitions
- Educate patients and families on health management protocols
- Respond to emergencies following established clinical protocols
- Participate in weekend quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Current California RN/LVN or CNA license required
- 2+ years clinical experience in acute or ambulatory care
- BLS/CPR certification (ACLS preferred)
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic experience a plus)
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Flexibility to cover occasional holiday rotations
