Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly, professional demeanor to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and maintain store cleanliness standards.
- Handle customer inquiries, returns, and exchanges efficiently and courteously.
- Collaborate with the management team to achieve daily sales targets and operational goals.
- Perform opening and closing duties, including cash handling and security checks.
- Identify opportunities to upsell products and promote loyalty programs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Must be available to work full-time hours, specifically weekends (Saturday & Sunday).
- Strong verbal communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transactions.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
