Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary and urgent care services during weekend shifts (Saturday & Sunday)
- Diagnose, treat, and manage acute/chronic conditions following evidence-based protocols
- Order, interpret, and analyze diagnostic tests to inform treatment plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Conduct patient education and health promotion initiatives
- Participate in weekend on-call rotations as needed
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing from accredited program
- Current Texas Advanced Practice Nurse license
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in primary care or urgent care
- Certification as Adult-Gerontology or Family Nurse Practitioner
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
- Experience with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced weekend environment
