Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including vital signs, EKGs, and injections
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and proceduresMaintain accurate electronic health records (EHR)
- Prepare and sterilize medical equipment
- Administer medications under physician supervision
- Coordinate patient education materials
- Handle administrative tasks including scheduling and billing
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to handle emergency situations
- Valid Texas driver's license
