Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including vital signs, injections, and specimen collection
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and examinations
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure efficient clinic operations
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize medical equipment
- Deliver patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in outpatient setting
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic experience preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work Saturday/Sunday shifts (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
- Maryland CMA/RMA license required
