Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including vital signs, injections, and EKG procedures
- Assist physicians with examinations and minor procedures
- Manage electronic health records and maintain accurate documentation
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure efficient clinic operations
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical equipment
- Handle patient scheduling and insurance verification
- Collaborate with healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA and medical protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic ECG and phlebotomy proficiency
- Flexibility to handle weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
