Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and medical support during weekend shifts (Sat-Sun)
- Monitor patient vital signs and maintain accurate electronic health records
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care continuity
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism
- Mentor new staff and uphold departmental quality standards
Qualifications
- Active RN or LPN license in Texas
- 2+ years clinical experience in acute care setting
- BLS/ACLS certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Weekend shift availability mandatory
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Experience with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
