Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, socioeconomic trends, and geopolitical shifts to forecast 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for disruptive innovations (quantum computing, synthetic biology, autonomous systems)
- Produce strategic whitepapers and executive briefings on future-proofing business models
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align organizational capabilities with long-term opportunities
- Partner with R&D to translate foresight into product roadmaps and innovation pipelines
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems through patent analysis, academic research, and startup scouting
- Present future outlooks to investors, boards, and industry consortiums
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains: AI ethics, climate tech, or neurotech
- Proven track record of producing influential trend reports (published work required)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario modeling capabilities
- Experience with foresight methodologies (Delphi, horizon scanning, causal layered analysis)
- Strong data visualization and storytelling skills for executive audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating 2026+ strategic impact for enterprise clients
