Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology and market foresight frameworks using advanced scenario planning methodologies
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify and prioritize emerging trends impacting business strategy
- Produce high-impact strategic briefings and executive presentations on future disruption vectors
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs for early trend detection
- Design and implement horizon scanning systems for real-time threat/opportunity analysis
- Mentor junior futurists and build internal foresight capabilities across the organization
Qualifications
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future studies role
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field required
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal megatrends
- Exceptional data visualization and narrative communication skills for executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic foresight publications
- Certification in futures research methodologies preferred (e.g., WFS, APF)
