Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of the 2026 innovation roadmap, aligning with long-term company vision
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, sustainable tech) for strategic integration
- Manage a portfolio of experimental R&D projects with $2M+ annual budget
- Present innovation insights to C-suite executives and key stakeholders
- Build and mentor a high-performance innovation lab team
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Monitor global tech trends and competitive landscape to inform strategy
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology innovation or R&D leadership
- Proven track record scaling experimental projects to commercial success
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains
- Exceptional strategic planning and stakeholder management skills
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams in matrixed organizations
- Published thought leadership in innovation or futurism
- Strong understanding of ethical technology development frameworks
