Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 innovation strategy, identifying high-impact emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, biotech convergence)
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' prototyping next-gen products and services
- Establish strategic partnerships with startups, research institutions, and industry disruptors
- Present innovation roadmaps and risk assessments to the executive board and investors
- Build and mentor an elite innovation team of futurists, engineers, and data scientists
- Anticipate regulatory and ethical implications of breakthrough technologies
- Drive adoption of agile innovation methodologies across global divisions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, product development, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching technologies with 5+ year market impact
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, neurotech, etc.)
- Executive-level communication with ability to articulate complex futures scenarios
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or Futures Studies
- Experience securing $5M+ innovation budgets and managing cross-continental teams
- Published thought leadership on technological disruption (patents, journals, keynotes)
- Portfolio of delivered innovation projects with measurable ROI
