Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives targeting 2026 technological breakthroughs
- Develop patent-protected frameworks for next-generation human-AI symbiosis
- Architect scalable solutions addressing climate resilience and resource scarcity
- Drive partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Present strategic roadmaps to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Mentor junior innovators in emerging technology methodologies
- Conduct horizon-scanning for disruptive technologies with 3-5 year market impact
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Bioengineering (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years in R&D leadership with proven commercialization track record
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or AGI
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Experience securing $10M+ in innovation grants or venture capital
- Portfolio of launched products with >$50M ARR impact
- Deep understanding of regulatory landscapes for frontier technologies
- Exceptional systems thinking and interdisciplinary synthesis abilities
