Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies and societal trends with 2026-2030 impact
- Develop quantitative foresight models using AI-driven trend analysis and predictive simulation
- Architect multi-disciplinary innovation roadmaps for quantum, biotech, and climate resilience domains
- Present strategic briefings to executive leadership and external stakeholders including UN agencies and Fortune 500 partners
- Manage portfolio of moonshot projects with $50M+ annual budgets
- Author white papers and thought leadership pieces published in Nature Futures and MIT Tech Review
- Mentor junior futurists and cross-functional innovation teams
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or equivalent technical field with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/biotech preferred)
- Expertise in strategic foresight methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, Scenario Planning)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Experience leading cross-continental innovation teams with 50+ members
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed futurism journals or top-tier tech publications
- Proficiency in Python for trend modeling and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Clearances for government-level R&D collaboration (preferred)
