Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and forecast their commercial impact through 2030
- Develop strategic frameworks for organizational adaptation to future market disruptions
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on 2026+ vision and execution plans
- Author forward-looking whitepapers and trend reports for executive decision-making
- Partner with R&D to incubate future-proof product innovation pipelines
- Monitor geopolitical, economic, and societal megatrends affecting long-term strategy
- Represent company at global futurist forums and thought leadership events
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, innovation, or futures research with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven track record of translating foresight into executable business strategies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, etc.)
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with proficiency in trend visualization tools
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic foresight publications
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Research (e.g., CFCS preferred)
- Experience advising C-suite on 5-10 year strategic horizons
