Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends, market shifts, and scientific breakthroughs to map 2026+ innovation landscapes
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, neural interfaces)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state opportunities
- Author forward-looking whitepapers and industry-defining thought leadership
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-gen solutions
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory impacts on technological adoption
- Establish KPIs for measuring future-readiness across business units
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech research
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, biotech, quantum, etc.)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into actionable business strategy
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario modeling capabilities
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry forums
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies and trend analysis frameworks
- Strong network within Silicon Valley's innovation ecosystem
