Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scanning data from quantum computing, biotech, and AI to forecast market disruptions through 2030
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for climate-resilient infrastructure and autonomous systems
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype next-gen human-computer interfaces and neural interfaces
- Present strategic foresight reports to investors and board members with data-driven narratives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align innovation priorities with UN Sustainable Development Goals
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and government labs for emerging tech validation
- Mentor junior futurists using structured foresight methodologies like Delphi and STEEP analysis
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years applying foresight methodologies in tech, sustainability, or policy contexts
- Portfolio demonstrating published trend forecasts or scenario-planning projects
- Expertise in horizon scanning tools (e.g., Trendalyzer, Futurist Toolkit Pro)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., AC/FS, WFS) or data science
- Experience presenting complex futures narratives to C-suite audiences
- Fluency in at least two additional languages (Spanish, Mandarin, Arabic preferred)
