Responsibilities
- Architect 5-10 year strategic blueprints for quantum AI integration and human augmentation ecosystems
- Lead cross-disciplinary labs prototyping next-gen interfaces (neural, AR/VR, haptic)
- Anticipate geopolitical/societal impacts of emerging tech through horizon scanning
- Develop patent portfolios for breakthrough applications in climate-tech and biocomputing
- Partner with VCs to incubate spinoffs targeting 2026 market gaps
- Present foresight frameworks to C-suite and government innovation councils
Qualifications
- PhD in Computational Physics, Cognitive Science, or equivalent with 5+ years futurist practice
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.) on exponential technologies
- Proven track record commercializing moonshot projects through to Series B
- Expertise in scenario planning using Monte Carlo simulations and agent-based modeling
- Deep understanding of quantum computing architectures and AI alignment challenges
- Portfolio demonstrating strategic foresight for 2025+ technology adoption curves
