Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts post-2025
- Develop 5-10 year strategic roadmaps for product evolution and market positioning
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for C-suite executives on 2026+ industry transformations
- Author white papers and thought leadership on future-proofing methodologies
- Partner with R&D to prototype solutions for emerging human-machine paradigms
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and domain experts
- Analyze quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence implications for business strategy
- Present findings to investors and board members through compelling visual narratives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Published research on 2020s technological disruption or long-term trend analysis
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methodology, and trend impact assessment
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum, AI, neurotech, synthetic biology)
- Experience designing and executing 10-year strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, D3.js) and foresight software
- Exceptional storytelling ability to translate complex futures into actionable insights
